In Meesh's case,
it's barely contained until the one day

MY THOUGHTS

I lucked out and was able to get a review copy of this book. Now, I love fairytales, and while I have a couple twisted fairytale books on my kindle, I haven't had the opportunity to read them yet. So with this being my first one, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleased with the result. This is a twisted fairytale of Hansel and Gretel. Cursed with the need for sweet treats, they fall in love with a new candy store that has been opened….and the owner is extremely sweet himself. Being a short story, of course everything is moving at a quick pace, but AR Von was able to achieve the quick pace without the story seeming rushed. I think that balance is very important with short stories, and it's a big part of my rating for short stories. This was a very good short story!! Absolutely 4 STARS!
